Dancing Yolates Teacher Training 2027

120-Hour Program - A Transformative Journey Through the Healing Layers of Dance

Exciting news: In response to growing demand, we're opening two trainings in Denmark for 2027 - one in Copenhagen and one in Aarhus.

We are so excited to continue the journey and welcome two new groups of students to our 120-hour Dancing Yolates Teacher Training – open to everyone!

The Dancing Yolates Teacher Training is a deeply immersive journey into the intuitive and therapeutic power of dance. As one of the core elements of the Living Yolates method and philosophy, this training offers a sacred space to move, feel, and heal - reconnecting with your essence and awakening the body’s innate intelligence and rhythm.

Over the course of five parts, in-persons, live calls, online content, and an integrating retreat deep in the Swedish forest, you will be guided through a powerful process of self-discovery, embodied feminine leadership, and holistic learning. Through dance therapy, free and intuitive movement, Qigong-inspired practices, meditation, and energy work, you will explore how movement can become a pathway to deep liberation, authenticity, expression, and alignment.

This teacher training is open to everyone who feels called to embody and share a more conscious, heart-centered way of living and moving. Whether you are a teacher, facilitator, space-holder, or someone simply seeking to deepen your relationship with your body and spirit - and to live and be part of the change you wish to see in the world - this journey offers you the tools, space, and support to grow and step into your full potential.

*Note: This course will be taught in English if needed, otherwise Danish.

What is Dancing Yolates?

Dance – Joy – Flow – Authenticity – Softness – Power

Dancing Yolates is one of the four core styles within the Living Yolates method. This dynamic and transformative practice is infused with the elements of Water and Fire - blending soft flow and embodied presence with heat, high energy, sweat, and pulse-raising movement to create a joyful and holistic experience.

In Dancing Yolates, you are invited to let go - to release the inner critical voice and the weight of expectation. You reconnect with the pure essence of being alive. It’s a celebration of movement and spirit, embracing both darkness and light, endings and new beginnings - where expression becomes healing and freedom is felt through every part of your body.

The Practice

Dancing Yolates is inspired by Qigong, modern dance, Afro dance, hip-hop, and free intuitive movement. Each session combines guided sequences and free dance, with the intention to make every movement your own - a mirror of how you feel in the present moment.

A typical session begins with a gentle, grounding sequence to calm the body and mind. We warm up with joint mobility and flowing movement before expanding into the full space - no yoga mats, just open, intuitive, expressive dance. As the energy builds, so does the heat. The session culminates in a free, groovy, open dance floor experience, and slowly transitions into a nourishing blend of pilates, yoga, grounding meditation, and deep relaxation.

When the body is warm and activated, it opens to deeper layers of healing. This is where we practice listening - to the messages that arise from within, strengthening the connection to our intuition, inner wisdom, and true self.

Dancing Yolates is a modern, holistic approach to awakening your entire being - a joyful, embodied practice rooted in spiritual depth, body intelligence, and transformational inner work.

The Intention Behind Dancing Yolates

Dancing Yolates is a pathway to liberation. It’s a chance to realign with your spirit, and an invitation to heal and transform through the feeling of joy.

Dance is one of the most powerful forms of expression. It is a deep source of vitality, authenticity, and happiness. It connects you to your body’s wisdom and gives access to emotional depth. Through dance, you release control, melt tension, and rediscover your natural rhythm, pleasure, and creativity.

Take the hips, for example: when you move your hips, you stimulate pleasure hormones in the brain - activating joy and reconnecting you with your feminine power, sensuality, body awareness, and leadership in your own life.

The Role of the Dancing Yolates Teacher

As a Dancing Yolates teacher, you hold a powerful and sacred role: to create safe, heart-led, and inspiring spaces where others can grow, thrive, and transform through movement. You become a guide - helping others rediscover their own joy, inner freedom, and self-expression.

One step. One sway. One breath at a time.

Part 1

Connection- Love- Breath- Softness

(In person)

The journey begins by creating a strong foundation within yourself and the community around you. We explore connection to your deeper self, to nature, and to the group through meditation, breathwork, nature immersion, Qigong-inspired movement, and Vital Dance Flow. Guided by the vibration of love, softness, and presence, you will be introduced to the fundamental principles of yin and yang - the forces that exist within all of life and all creation. This first part lays the energetic and philosophical foundation for the entire teacher training journey.

Supported by an online study.

Part 2

Regeneration, Soft Circulation, and Transformation

(In person)

In this part of the training, we explore regeneration as a pathway to deep nourishment, vitality, and transformation. Together, we create space to replenish our energy, connect with our essence, strengthen our instinct of being, and deepen our ability to listen to our intuition.

Through intentional movement and energy practices, we cultivate a vital flow that awakens the body and spirit, helping us feel more alive, revitalized, and inspired. You will learn healing tools inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, the chakra system, trauma healing, sound healing and transformation through movement. As we continue the journey, we begin to integrate these teachings and go deeper into the world of energy work.

You are invited to take your practice into nature through authentic movement. You will learn deep stretches inspired by Taoistic Yin yoga, and nature-based practices that deepen your connection to yourself and the natural world.

Supported by an online study.

Part 3

Joy and Integration

(Online study, integration, self-practice, and movement in nature)

This part of the training invites you to enjoy the process and leave time for integration. Through a self-study journey, you will have space to deepen your understanding, reflect on your experiences, and allow the teachings to become a living part of your daily life.

You will receive lectures on the Five Elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine and explore how to integrate this wisdom into your Living Yolates practice and way of living. We will introduce the magic of joint work, the basic dance moves of Dancing Yolates, free and intuitive dance, and lecture in nature therapy.

Part 4

Life Courage, Inner Power, Rhythm, Authenticity and Expression

(In person)

This part of the training invites you to step more fully into your authentic expression and discover the courage to follow your own rhythm. Through a variety of dance styles, including African dance, contemporary dance, and free movement, you will explore new ways of expressing yourself and connecting to your inner power.

You will receive a lecture on rhythm and music and learn how movement, sound, and energy work together to create a deeper experience of presence and expression. We will also explore how to weave together the teachings you have received so far and begin creating your own Dancing Yolates classes and programs.

Through movement, creativity, and practice, you will strengthen your confidence as a teacher and leader, finding greater freedom, liberation, and trust in your unique voice. You will also learn simple strengthening exercises inspired by yoga and Pilates that can be integrated into your Dancing Yolates and Living Yolates teachings.

Part 5

Synchronicity & Unity

(Teacher Retreat in Sweden)

This final part takes place in the heart of Swedish nature - a transformative retreat where you’ll integrate all your learnings and elevate your personal growth and teaching. We’ll move, breathe, sing, and dance with the land. Sauna, fire ceremonies, and voice activation in nature will be part of our shared rituals. You’ll be supported to step fully into your light. This closing retreat is an opportunity to align more deeply with your essence, your purpose, and your unique contribution. A beautiful celebration of life.
